The Jammu Kashmir Police has arrested two House owners from the Sunjwan area of Jammu, a day after the arrest of Militant commander Hidayat ullah Malik in Jammu.
A lady from Shopian has also been detained for allegedly concealing the identity of their tenants.
Militant commander, who is said to be the chief of new Militant outfit, Lashkar e Mustafa was arrested on Friday by a police team and subsequently booked under FIR Number 16 of 2021 under section 18/20 Unlawful Activities at Gangyal Police Station.
Immediately after the arrest, the Jammu Kashmir Police said Hidayatullah was staying at the house of one Nazir Ahmed son of Lassa Bhat. Another person detained was staying at the house of one Siraj u Din, a resident of the Moomin Abad Sunjwan area in Jammu.
Both the house owners were detained for not informing the Police about the tenants in violation of the notification of the orders of District Magistrate Jammu which has made it mandatory to inform the concerned Police Station about the tenants
In this regard, two FIRs vid number 41 of 2021 under section 188 of IPC and 42 of 2021 under section 188 of IPC have been registered against both the house owners at Bahu Fort Police in Jammu.
According to reports, the Jammu Kashmir Police also raided a house raid in Ustad Mohalla of Jammu and detained a woman, a resident of the Ganopora area in Shopian District.
The woman, as per the Police escaped from the spot where the militant commander was apprehended from the Kunjwani area in Jammu.
