“Two of the attackers were from South Kashmir while one was a Pakistani national,” the Jammu Kashmir Police has said as per a report published on Indian Express.
The Pakistani Militant involved in the killing is Naveed Jutt and he was assassinated after a defamation campaign run allegedly by a Kashmiri blogger now settled in Pakistan.
Police had shortly after the assassination of prominent newsman, Shuja’at Bukhari released a CCTV footage alleging that they had caught in tape the people who were responsible for carrying out the attack.
The Jammu Kashmir Police will also address a press conference to detail out the available details.

Shuja’at Bukhari was killed by unidentified gunmen on June 14 after the editor of Srinagar Daily, Rising Kashmir was hit with a volley of bullets in his car, his two security guards were also killed in the attack.
