A complete shutdown is being observed on Friday in many areas of North Kashmir against the killing of Militants in the areas.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that Sopore has shut for the second consecutive day against the Militant killings, while a partial shutdown is being observed in Handwara and Langate areas for the fourth consecutive day.
Two Local Militants had been killed on Tuesday in a gunfight in Kupwara and on Thursday, two Foreign Militants were killed in a gunfight in Sopore post which authorities suspended internet and closed down the schools.
The business establishments in the area also remained shut while train services were also suspended.
Meanwhile Clashes also erupted in Sopore town for the second consecutive day against the killing of Militants, youth gathered in Arampora, the locality where two Militants were killed in thursday gunfight and hurled stones on Forces deployed in the area.
The forces responded with tear gas shells triggering clashes.
