Situation in Kashmir getting worse, Tourism not a parameter to measure normalcy: Farooq Abdullah

Stating that situation is worse in Jammu Kashmir, National Conference Patron and President of the five-party alliance Dr Farooq Abdullah said that tourism is not a reflection of normalcy.

Talking to reporters, Abdullah said that the everyday policeman or any civilian is being killed which reflects situation is not good in Jammu Kashmir.

Farooq said that the Kashmiri Pandits were asking for security to safer places and in response, they got tear shells.

“I have never seen a Kashmiri Pandit throwing stones as stated by the government. Their demand of giving them safety was correct but what was the point of shelling them in return?” Farooq asked.
