Six Civilians Killed in Pulwama as Forces Open Fire Upon Protesters

Four more civilian have been killed during clashes with government forces in southern Kashmir’s Pulwama taking the civilian death toll to six.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the third civilian has been identified as Liyakat Ahmed from Parigam area of Pulwama district was killed during clashes near encounter site Sirnoo.

They said that he had received a bullet injury was shifted to district hospital Pulwama where doctors declared him brought dead.

The deceased have been identified as Shahbaz Ali, resident of Monghama village, Suhail Ahmad of Bellow Pulwama, Liyaqat Ahmad from Parigam, Amir Ahmad Palla of Ashminder and Abid Hussain Lone of Kareemabad.

Hospital officials told The Kashmiriyat that four more injured were referred to the hospital, however they had died upon their arrival at the DH Pulwama. “All the four were brought dead to the hospital,” they told The Kashmiriyat.

Earlier two youth, Amir Ahmed Pall and Abid were shot dead when forces opened fire upon protesters in Sirnoo area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama District.

Pertinently clashes had erupted in Sirnoo when Forces laid a siege around the Sirnoo locality in Pulwama and an encounter raged in the area, three Militants were shot in the encounter.
