Two militants were killed during an encounter at Wathoora area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam on Wednesday morning.
Officials have identified them as affiliates of Lashkar e Taiba and said they are from the Kulgam district in South Kashmir.
An official told The Kashmiriyat that Kashmir Mirror that the slain militants have been identified as Hilal Wani, a resident of Munchew Yaripora and Shoiab Morsi of Bumrath, Wokay.
Pertinently the 50 RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police were fired upon by Militants during a cordon and search operation in the area.
Immediately the troops cordoned off the area and the hiding Militants opened fire on the troopers triggering an encounter.
