The weathermen have issued warnings for Jammu Kashmir pertaining to a western disturbance in the entire region.
The weathermen said that the Jammu division will witness light to moderate rain from later tonight and tomorrow (27th) with light to moderate snowfall over places like Doda-Kistawar, Jawahar Tunnel(Top), Pirpanjal, etc.
The officials predicted Light to Moderate Snow(2-3 Inches) in plains of the Kashmir valley and Moderate snow(5-6 Inches) over higher reaches of Kashmir most likely from later tonight till tomorrow (27th Evening/Night).
“Some places of higher reaches may receive up to 1 feet of snow,” the official said,
The general public has been advised to drive very slowly, Use Anti Skid Chai and maintain sufficient distance between cars and keep the lights ON in the snowbound areas.
