unknown persons fired a few gunshots towards near the camp of Special Operations Group of Jammu Kashmir Police stationed at Imam Sahib area in South Kashmir’s Shopian District on Tuesday.
Sources told The Kashmiryat that the gunshots created panic in the area and the shoppers immediately downed their shutters.
Soon after the forces reached the area and launched a cordon and search operation around the SOG camp in Imam Sahib.
A police official however said that the situation in Imam Sahib is normal.
