The Jammu Kashmir Police on Tuesday foiled a march organized by Civil Society Sopore called against the attempts to abrogate Article 35 A.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that members of Civil Society Sopore on Wednesday carrying banners and placards assembled outside Dak Bungalow Sopore to protest against the attempts to abrogate Article 35 A,.
The Police soon reached the spot and did not allow them to proceed.
Meanwhile chairman of Civil Society Sopore Mohammad Akbar talking with media said that the protest was aimed to warn the government over attempts to abrogate Article 35-A.
But unfortunately additional Deputy Commissioner Sopore issued a Letter to disallow the protest.
