One Militant has been killed in an encounter that raged in ratnipora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama District on Tuesday morning.
The body of the Militant killed in encounter has been recovered along with a rifle.
He has been identified as Hilal Ahmed Rather son of Ghulam Mohammed Rather, a resident of Begumbagh in Kakpora area of Pulwama.
The encounter was jointly conducted by 50 RR, 182 BN of CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police.
The operation has ended amid clashes in the area.
Hilal had joined Militancy in February last year and was associated with Hizb ul Mujahideen.
