Sp College, Women’s College erupts Over Shopian Killings

SP Higher Secondary, Kothibagh and Women’s College in Srinagar held protests against the killings of 13 militants and four civilians in Shopian on Sunday last.

“The Students hit the streets to demand an end to the killing spree in Kashmir,” a student told The Kashmiriyat.

The students in large numbers shouted pro Independence and Pro Islam slogans, the students said.

Meanwhile there are reports of sporadic clashes in the Lal chowk area in Srinagar.

The shopkeeper in the area have pulled down their shutters, reports said.
