
Authorities at Sheikh ul Alam International Airport in Srinagar have made special arrangements for prayers and designated the space for wearing Ahram, a white clothing used by Hajj pilgrims.
Srinagar International Airport Director, Kuldeep Singh Rishi said that a specified area has been marked for the Hajj pilgrims for changing Ahram and offering prayers. This has been done for the convenience of Hajj pilgrims, he said.
Earlier, the Director in a tweet said, “Special area has been designated at our airport for the convenience of pilgrims going on Haj. You can change into Ahram in this designated area in the SHA just before boarding the flight.”
The first flight for Hajj-2023 from Jammu Kashmir would leave for Jeddah International Airport on June 7.
