A young girl was crushed to death by a speeding tipper at Zaldoora area of South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) early morning on Tuesday.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a vehicle bearing the registration number JK03B 4399 hit a minor girl on the main road in Zaldoora resulting into her on the spot death.
She has been identified as Andleep Rashid aged 3 years Daughter of Abdul Rashid, a resident of Zaldoora.
As per initial reports, the driver of the tippper managed to escape from the spot.
As the news of the accident spread, people came on the streets and started protesting demanding the arrest of the tipper driver.
A Police official posted in the area confirmed the news of the accident and said that police is investigating the matter.
