A Spontaneous shutdown is being observed in most of the parts of South Kashmir’s Kulgam and Islamabad (Anantnag) Districts on Saturday as an encounter has raged between Militants and Government Forces in Qazigund area of South Kashmir.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that shops, business establishments in both the districts have shut following the killing of Local Militants in the encounter.
Many Educational institutes in both the Districts have been closed for the day and mobile internet has been shut as a ‘precautionary measure’ in both the districts.
Railway Services to and From South Kashmir have been suspended by Railway authorities.
