
Srinagar Based Newspaper 'Roshni' Sends Free Masks to Readers Along with Newspapers
A Kashmir-based Urdu newspaper is earning praises for its innovative effort in raising awareness about coronavirus pandemic.
‘Roshni’, An old media house based in Srinagar attached a facemask on its front page in its Tuesday edition with a message, “Mask ka istemal zaroori hai” (using mask is important).
Zahoor Shora, the Editor of the newspaper, as per a national daily said that, “We thought it was important at this time to send out this message to the public, and this was a good way of making them understand the importance of wearing a mask”.
