Srinagar-based organization today distributed various marriage-related items to girls at a function held in the Kanihama Magam area on Srinagar-Gulmarg road.
The function was held by a non-governmental organization ‘Noor-ul-Hudah Welfare Foundation which runs from Kaksarai Srinagar.
Rouf-ul-Rahim who is affiliated with the ‘Noor-ul-Hudha Foundation told news agency Kashmir News Trust that they had always served the poor and would continue to do so in the future.
“We distributed goods for marriage among 30 downtrodden girls who hail from different parts of Kashmir Valley,” he said. (KNT)
