Srinagar Man Working In Indian Army Missing Since September 3, Family Stages Protest

A 50-year-old Srinagar man working in the Indian Army has been missing from Jammu city since September 3, 2020. The family of missing Reyaz Ahmed Khan staged a protest in Press Enclave Srinagar seeking his whereabouts. Khan is the son of late Amanullah Khan and a resident of Urdu Bazar Fathe Kadal,

His daughter Bazila Reyaz said that Reyaz Ahmed is posted at Bari Brahmana Jammu at CSD Army Canteen. “He had gone to get his COVID-19 test reports from Government Medical College Jammu on September 3 and since then is untraceable,” she said.

She said a missing report in this regard has been lodged at police station in Bakshi Nagar.

The missing man, Reyaz Ahmed, has a daughter, son, and an ailing mother. All the three were part of the protest. His daughter is going to get married next month.

A police official said that efforts are on to trace the missing Srinagar man. He said that CCTV footage shows, the missing man has not visited the hospital on September 3. A team has been constituted to trace the missing man.
