Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) has detained Irfan Malik, a social media user from Srinagar, for posting hateful and abusive content against the slain DySP of J&K Police, Humayun Muzammil who killed in Kokernag Encounter.
Preliminary analysis of his social media accounts revealed that he was also promoting terrorism and threatening security forces. Irfan Malik, who works as an operator at JustDial, has been booked under relevant laws and is under investigation as part of FIR No. 07/2023 at Police Station CID CIK.
The investigation into this case is ongoing.
