SSP Anantnag, Sandeep Chaudhary, recently held a meeting with the Sumo and Taxi Associations of district Anantnag. COVID-19 protocols which need to be followed by sumos and taxies were discussed during the meeting.
In order to reduce the traffic congestion in Anantnag, the streamlining of the stand system was discussed in detail during the meeting. The SSP assured that Unified Sticker System for sumos and taxies will be introduced to check the entry of unauthorised taxies in Anantnag.
Senior official of Anantnag police were also a part of the meeting.
The SSP emphasised the need to collectively improve the traffic condition improved with the efforts of the police and community. The representatives of associations assured that they will provide assistance to police in solving the traffic condition.
