Authorities on Monday directed all the Head of Institutions (HoIs) of all government and private schools and Zonal Education Officers (ZEOs) of Srinagar district to commence with online tutoring of students belonging to minority community
According to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), officials at Chief Education Officer (CEO) Srinagar in a communication to all principals of both government and private schools and ZEOs has said, “It is enjoined upon all the of HoIs to start online tutoring of minority Hindu and Sikh students and reconnect them with the school activities.
The communication reads, “Prepare Database of student’s Viz class and school wise and create class wise Whatsapp groups, use student friendly virtual platforms for the conduct of online classes as a supplementary measure to normal schooling.”
It also reads that the learning level assessment of students in each subject must be conducted virtually through Google form questionnaire or any other feasible virtual format and record of that to be incorporated in the learning level register.
Further the teachers were directed to prepare their action plans for online teaching and e-materials as per their syllabus before and so that their students understand concepts quite easily.
“Online presence of students shall be recorded on the attendance register. Any kind of laxity in the matter shall be sole responsibility of the concerned HoIs and ZEOs concerned and action taken report regarding the exercise be submitted within one day positively,” it reads—(KNO)
