Intense clashes erupted in janglat Mandi area of South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) township between youth and Government Forces as hundreds of youth hit the streets against the civilian and Militant Killings in Kulgam.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that shouting pro independence and pro Militancy slogans youth in large numbers thronged the streets to demand an end to the ongoing killing spree.
The forces deployed in the area fired intense tear smoke shells and pellet firing to disperse the protesters, however the clashes weree going on when this report was filed.
