Stone-throwing clashes erupted in the Soura area of Srinagar on Thursday morning.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that youth in large numbers hit the streets when a team of Jammu Kashmir Police visited the area and threw stones on them.
The Police retaliated by throwing stones on them. The clashes continued for several minutes.
As per a local news agency, the stone-pelting started when the SSP of Srinagar visited the area to assess the covid related situation.
The latest reports say that the situation is normal now.
