
A tragic stray dog attack in Budgam’s Manchowa area, Central Kashmir, claimed the life of a 70-year-old man and injured four others early Sunday morning.
According to officials, the attack occurred around 6 am as locals were heading to their fields. Among the five injured was Khazir Mohammad Magrey, aged 70, who later succumbed to his injuries.
The other four victims have been admitted to a local hospital for treatment.
Residents are now urging authorities to address the stray dog menace, warning that such incidents may continue if no immediate action is taken.
They expressed that today’s tragedy should serve as a critical wake-up call for officials to implement effective solutions.
