Students Protest Against Hiked Fees in Cluster University Jammu.

Student of different colleges affiliated with Cluster University on Monday held a strong protest against Cluster University Administration in Jammu.

Student were protesting against the recent order of the revised fee structure and the break-up of fee due to Covid’19 of Cluster University Jammu.

To overcome the financial burden of the students fraternity from the current situation of Covid’19 pandemic, the Vice-Chancellor, on the recommendations of the Deans of the various faculties and Principals of Constituent Colleges, had passed an order that in current academic session i.e. 2020-2021 and the fee shall be charged in two installments i.e. 1st installment to be charged at the time of admission and 2nd installment to be charged by the respective colleges in the next semester.

The protesting student alleged that University is charging them for unused facilities such as library, wi-fi, sports etc.which is unjust for the students. They demanded the VC of the University’s timely intervention.
