Due to the non-availability of electricity Sub – District Tral is reeling under the darkness from the start of the winter season. The Curtailment schedule set by the PDD (Power Development Department) seems to be implemented nowhere by the same department.

The Power schedule seems only visible on papers but on the ground, the people of Sub – District Tral feel that they are living in the stone age.
The Citizens Counsel told The Kashmiriyat, “Department only raises bills without providing the electricity as per the schedule. It is quite clear that the Power Development Department of Tral is incompetent and unwilling to serve the people of the area”.
They also demanded that the power schedule should be implemented in Letter and Spirit as the consumers are paying as per schedule but are not getting the electricity.

Citizens Council Tral further added, that they have decided that the people of Sub – District Tral will hit the roads to block all the routes and mark the protest against the non – availability of electricity if their demands are not paid heed to .
Citizens Council Tral also requests The Administration to intervene in the matter for the interest of the common masses.
