Suspected Militants attacked Government Force personnel in the Jamalata Chowk of Nawakadal area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that on Sunday evening Militants opened fire on a Police party in the Nawakdal area of Srinagar’s downtown area.
As per initial reports, one policeman has been injured in the attack. “Around 20-30 gunshots were heard in the area,” locals said.
The Government Forces have launched a massive search operation to nab the attackers.
