Prominent Social activist Swami Agnivesh was abused and thrashed outside the BJP headquarters in Delhi when was on way to pay tribute to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who passed away yesterday (friday).
Soon after Swani Agnivesh went to the BJP office, a group of persons started raising slogans against him, asking him to go back.
Soon he was chased by a group of people, believed to be Bharatiya Janata Party workers, who later assaulted him.
Delhi Police then whisked away Agnivesh to safety in a van.
