November 12 Palestinian health officials in the Gaza Strip say seven people have been killed and six have been wounded by Israeli fire in a sudden, late-night burst of fighting. Israel’s forces also killed a commander from Hamas in clashes in the Gaza Strip, Gaza officials have reported. They said a group of Hamas members were fired upon from a passing car. Witness statements said Israeli planes fired more than 20 missiles into open areas where the incident took place. “During Israel Defense Forces operational activity in the Gaza Strip, an exchange of fire evolved,” and IDF statement read. Pakistan Arrests 18 Indian Fisherman

September 13 Pakistan authorities have arrested 18 Indian fishermen for allegedly fishing in the country’s territorial waters, an official said. The latest batch of Indian fishermen was arrested on Tuesday by the Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) and they will be produced before a judicial magistrate on Thursday by the Docks police, the official said. Two fishing boats of the Indian fishermen were also seized. They will now join hundreds of other Indian fishermen lodged in jails in Karachi before they are released either on completion of sentences or through any goodwill gesture announced by the Pakistan government. August 28 The Pakistan Government is preparing a proposal to resolve the Kashmir issue, The Human Rights Minister of Pakistan's Minister for Human Rights, Shireen Mazari said. The Government, she said, will prepare a proposal on resolving the Kashmir conflict within one week and present it in the cabinet.  August 07 An Indian Army Major and three soldiers were killed in a gunfight with Militant in Gurez Sector along the Line of Control in North Kashmir's Bandipora District. Reports suggest that Army intercepted a group of eight infiltrators who were trying to cross from Gurez in north Kashmir. 51 Taliban Militants Killed in Army Operations

August 05 At least 51 Taliban insurgents were killed and six were injured during an ongoing operation by Afghan forces in eastern Kunar province, Khaama Press reported. The sixth phase of Qahr Silab-2 operation kicked off on Friday night and is currently being conducted with the help of the artillery and close air support, a statement by the Silab Corps said. The statement elaborated that 51 Taliban militants including three of their key leaders were killed and at least six others sustained critical injuries.
