Municipal Commitee Elections from 1-5 October, Panchayat from 8 Nov to 08 December

September 01 Elections in Jammu Kashmir will be held from October, the new governor of the province, Satyapal Malik, announced. The urban body elections will be held from 1st to 5th October in four phases. The Panchayat elections will take place from 8th November to 8th December. In the meeting of the State Administrative Committee headed by the Governor, it was decided to hold the urban body elections before Panchayat elections.
