August 22 The Chairman of Ummat e Islami and the Mirwaiz of South Kashmir, Qazi Ahmed Yasir today addressed people at Eid Gah in South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) on the occasion of Eid ul Adha. August 18 The incessant rains and floods continued to wreak havoc in Kerala with the death toll due to the worst flooding in nearly a century crossing 170, with thousands missing. Pathanamthitta district in central Kerala continued to be the worst affected in the last 24 hours as thousands of people are trapped in their homes in the towns of Ranni, Aranmula and Kozhencherry.
