Imam from Kashmir who lead prayers at Masjid Nabvi Passes Away in Saudi

September 04 In 2016, a video of an Imam with a melodious voice went viral over social networking throughout the Islamic world, the man with this golden voice was Kashmir's Qari Khalil-ur-Rehman Qadri. Qari who was the the most respected religious personality from Kashmir in Saudi Arabia has passed on Monday and He was laid to rest in Jannat-ul-Baqiah on monday morning, reports said. Qari Khalil from Pathka village of Muzzafarabad in Pakistani side of Kashmir was born in 1940 and had migrated to Saudi Arabia in 1963. In 2016, it was Qari Mohammad Khalil led the Tarawih prayers in Islam’s first mosque.
