105 Militants Killed So Far in 2018

As of 30 June 2018, a total of 105 militants and 21 Government Force personnel have been killed in Kashmir this year, as per figures available to The Kashmiriyat.
A unilateral ceasefire was declared by the Indian Government on 14 May when the Government forces were asked not to launch operations during Ramadan, during that month 24 Militants were killed.
The Centre soon announced the resumption of intelligence-based cordon-and-search-operations in the state on June 17, 2018.
The Indian home minister Rajnath Singh took to Twitter to announce that the government of India had decided not to extend the suspension of operations in Jammu Kashmir.
