In southern district of Anantnag, Scholars Scientific Institute located at Mominabad Ashajipora held a special event to celebrate Teachers’ Day with enthusiasm.
The programme was attended by Teaching Staff, non-teaching staff, and students of the Institute.
The Principal of the Institute Masrat Jan delivered introductory remarks and threw light on the importance of Teachers’ Day.
She underscored the contributions of teachers in shaping the students’ careers and channelizing their energies in the right direction.
She further highlighted teachers’ role in realising the hidden talent of the students to help them make their mark in academics and beyond.
The principal also said that teachers are contributing greatly to the corporate sector despite their hectic academic schedules.
Students from various classes participated in the event perform various cultural programmes drama, read out poetry, speech, sang songs, highlighting the role of teachers in mentoring them to achieve their desired goals.
Students of class 5th and 9th performed with excellence and impressed the teachers with their performance.
