Teenage boy found dead under mysterious conditions in Kulgam

A 15-year-old boy was found dead under mysterious circumstances at his home in village Jadipora area of Kulgam, on Friday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Athar Subzar Thoker, son of Subzar Thoker.

Speaking to The Kashmiriyat, some locals expressed shock and grief over the incident. “Athar was a quiet and well-behaved boy. It is difficult to believe that he would take such a step,” said a neighbor.

Another resident added, “The family is devastated. We hope the police investigate the matter thoroughly to understand what led to this tragedy.”

A police official confirmed the development, stating, “We have taken cognizance of the case and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the boy’s death. No further details can be shared at this point as the investigation is ongoing.”
