Wife killed, Husband critically injured in road accident in Kulgam

One woman died in a road accident in Pahloo area of Kulgam district.

Officials told The Kashmiriyat that on Sunday, an oil tanker crashed into a two-wheeler bearing the number JK04c 3988 in the Pahloo area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district, causing injuries to a husband and wife.

The woman named Beauty Jan, who was a resident of Khargund, Czowgam in Kulgam was declared dead upon her arrival at the hospital.

Her husband, Ishtiyaq Ahmed Shiekh s/o Bashir Ahmed Shiekh suffered critical injuries and is being treated at District Hospital Kulgam.

The Police has registered a case in this regard and launched an investigation into the incident.
