An 18-year-old boy from Cherwan Kangan sustained injuries after being assaulted by a group of youth in Wussan, Ganderbal.
The injured youth, identified as Arsalan Ah, was reportedly attacked with an iron rod by individuals said to be residents of Bandaibagh, according to his family.
“Arsalan,” family members told The Kashmiriyat, ‘”suffered a head injury on the right side and was promptly taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.”
Doctors have confirmed that his condition is stable.
A police official confirmed the incident and stated, “We have registered a case and initiated an investigation. Strict legal action will be taken against those found guilty.”
Further details about the altercation and its motive are under investigation.
