Srinagar, (KNO): A teenager drowned in river Jehlum at Soiteng Lasjan area of Srinagar on Monday afternoon even as a rescue operation has been launched, officials sources said here.
Official sources told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a 14-year-old Asrar Ahmad Dar of Padshahi Bagh drowned in river Jehlum at Soiteng Lasjan while taking a bath.
They said that the rescue operation has been launched by the army and local police to fish out the body of the teenager—(KNO)
