In order to give wide publicity and to sensitize people about the newly launched land record information system,(LRIS) “Aapki Zameen Aapki Nigrani” Tehsil administration Pahalgam today organised a day-long awareness programme for PRI members and people here at Pahalgam Club Convention Centre
During this awareness programme through live demonstration, people were sensitized that how Public users can search and view copies of Scanned data online on CIS Portal- http://landrecords.jk.gov.in/ which includes Jamabandis, Girdawaris, Masavis, Mutations etc.
Speaking on the occasion the Tehsildar Pahalgam Dr. Mohammad Hussain JKAS, said that the initiative has put the revenue records in public domain and will facilitate easy online access to the Land Records and can register grievances if any.
He added that people can also get the printout of their land records via this portal.
He also urged PRI, Lumdardars, Chowkidar, and Civil Society members to propagate information of this portal among the people so they can access their Land Records.
The Tehsildar also added that Tehsil administration has established more than 42 facility centers/ Nodal points across the district to facilitate people to get their Land Records who personally are not able to access their records.
