Temple Gutted in Shopian’s Zainapora

A temple was gutted during a fire incident in the Zainapora area of south Kashmir’s Shopian district.

A Police official told The Kashmiriyat that during the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday, massive flames erupted from the building.

The entire structure was gutted in the fire incident, He said as per initial investigation, a short circuit caused the fire.

“Locals along with police and fire tenders tried to bring the fire under control, but the fire damaged the entire temple,” locals told The Kashmiriyat.
