The Kashmiriyat Impact- Illegal Construction Removed in Less than a Day in Gulmarg

The Kashmiriyat reported about an illegal construction which was being done at the famous Hill resort in North Kashmir’s Gulmarg area.

Under the grab of ‘renovation permission’, the hotelier had started raising a structure at Gulmarg tourist resort, Our Journalist reached the spot and captured the Photographs and videos of the construction work being carried out by the hotelier in violations of norms.

The hotelier later got permission from Gulmarg Development Authority for renovating it. However, as visible from the photographs brought in the attention of authorities by The Kashmiriyat, he was misusing the same permission for converting the hut into a hotel.

The Kashmiriyat had appraised the issue with the Advisor to Governor, Vijay Kumar, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Khan, Deputy commissioner Baramulla, Nisar Naqash, IFS PCCF Jammu Kashmir, Manoj, Chief Executive Officer Gulmarg Development Authority, Haneef Balki who had promised action against the illegal construction.

They had promised The Kashmiriyat, “We have conveyed him to stop the work. Tomorrow the CEO Gulmarg Development Authority, Haneef Balki and will visit the spot and assess the situation after which further course of action will be decided.”

An Administration team reached the venue of the construction and demolished the structure, after which locals thanked the authorities especially the CEO of Gulmarg Development Authority.
