Thousands Gather at the Home of Hajin Teenager, Intense Clashes Erupt

Thousands of people including women have gathered outside the house of Mudasir Rashid Parray in the Mir Mohallah area of Hajin in North Kashmir’s Bandipora  District on Sunday as the news of him being killed in the encounter at Srinagar has spread in the area.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that men and women in large numbers from nearby areas are marching towards the home of the teen age boy shouting pro Freedom and Pro Islam slogans.

Mudasir Rashid, 15, son of Abdul Rashid Parray, a resident of Hajin in Bandipora went missing from his home on August 31, his photo carrying an AK 47 rifle appeared over the internet.

Mudasir is student of 9th grade and two siblings at home, a brother and a sister.

The family had lodged a missing report in the Police Station Hajin, however he could not be found.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the encounter erupted when Militants holed up in a residential house opened fire upon forces who were conducting a search operation after receiving inputs bout Militant movement in the area.

As per initial reports one of the Militant is a from Hajin, one from Pulwama in South Kashmir and the last one if a Pakistani militant, all affiliates of Lahskar e Taiba.

Women including the family members were seen mourning, as women folk tried to condole the women, however an official said that the identity of the slain Militants is yet to be ascertained.
