Thousands of people on Tuesday reached Pulwama to attend the funeral prayers of a local Hizb militant who was killed in an encounter in Ratnipora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that thousands of people defying the cold thronged the native of Hilal Ahmad in Gandibagh in Rajpora, Pulwama to attend the funeral of the slain Militant.
Locals said that the body of Hilal was recovered from the encounter site in Ratnipora village of Pulwama on Tuesday evening.
“Four round of funeral prayers were offered by tens of thousands of people for the slain militant,” eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat.
Meanwhile, a complete shutdown is being observed in Pulwama against the killing of the Militant.
