Amid restrictions, Thousands of people Friday thronged the residence of slain militant Aadil Ahmad at his native in Kakapora area of Pulwama in south Kashmir to attend funeral prayers in absentia.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that women and men despite restrictions in large numbers have assembled in Gundibagh Kakapora.
Aadil, the 23 year old affiliate of Jaish e Muhammad rammed a car planted with IED on a CRPF vehicle at Lethpora killing 49 CRPF personnel.
Meanwhile Ummat e Islami, a pro Freedom group active in South Kashmir has said that it will arrange funeral prayers in absentia for Adil in various areas of South Kashmir.
