
Three persons from Baramulla district in north Kashmir have been booked under the Public Safety Act (PSA) for anti-national activities, Police said on on Monday.
Police in a statement said, “Acting tough against Anti-national elements, Baramulla Police booked three persons namely Mysir Majeed Malik son of Abdul Majeed resident of Seriwarpora Pattan, Abdul Ahad Dar son of Ghulam Mohammed Dar, resident of Dar Mohalla Palhallan & Khursheed Ahmad Waza son of Late Ghulam Ahmad resident of Tantraypora Palhallan under Public Safety Act after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent authority.”
The persons have been detained and subsequently lodged in District Jail Kupwara and Anantnag, Police said.
“Despite their involvement in many FIR’s they did not mend their anti national and anti-social activities,” reads the statement
