Three cops among 5 injured in Srinagar road accident

Five people, including three police personnel, were injured in a road accident in Srinagar last night, said officials.

They said the accident took place at Bagh-i-Mehtab involving a police vehicle and a load carrier, leaving three policemen and two civilians injured.

“The injured were immediately shifted to the hospital where their condition is stated to be stable,” said an official.

The injured civilians were identified as Muneer Ahmad, and Afroza. Both are residents of Awanpora Chadoora.–(UNI)
