
The Jammu Kashmir Police on Sunday claimed to have arrested three “Hybrid” militants at Shalteng area in Srinagar outskirts.
In a tweet, Jammu Kashmir Police said, “The Kashmir Zone Police wrote, “Army (2RR) and Srinagar Police arrested three hybrid militants along with a huge consignment of 03 AK rifles, 02 Pistols, 09 Magazines & 200 rounds from outskirts of Srinagar.”
They said that further Investigation is going on, an official told The Kashmiriyat.
He identified the trio as S.no Mohammed Iqbal Dhobi son of Manzoor Ahmad Dhobi, a resident of Aribal Pattan, aged 21, Rouf Ahmed Dar son of Abdul Rahid Dar, a resident of aged 24 and Javid Ahmed Khanday son of Ghulam Hassan Khanday.
A Tata mobile vehicle has also been seized along with the recovered arms and ammunition, the official said.
