Three Including Trooper Injured in Grenade Attack in Srinagar

Three persons including two troopers have been injured in a grenade attack on CRPF in the Nawab Bazar Chowk area of Srinagar in Central Kashmir on Friday afternoon.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that unknown persons hurled a grenade on CRPF men of 36 Battalion that exploded with a loud bang, in which three persons including a civilian sustained injuries.

The injured were identified as Constable Fayaz Ahmed, CRPF Man Harish Kumar, and Hazik Ali, a civilian who is a resident of the Chanapora area in Srinagar

As per the latest reports, the area was cordoned after the attack. Details emerging.
