The Government Forces on Thursday afternoon opened fire upon protesters in Hafroo area of Chadoora in Central Kashmir’s Budgam District, which is going to polls today in the second phase of Lok Sabha elections 2019.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that hundred of youth stormed onto the Hafroo streets shouting pro Freedom and Anti India slogans, when Force personnel deployed in the area fired upon them.
They said that three youth have sustained injuries in the firing incident, who have been rushed to the nearby Chadoora hospital
Meanwhile clashes also erupted in Beerwah, Kandoora, Chewdara, Kawoosa and Rathsun villages of the district.
