Three persons injured in road accident at Nillow Kulgam

Three persons were injured in a road accident at Nillow area of Kulgam district on Wednesday.

Officials told The Kashmiriyat that the accident occurred when a truck (registration number JK13J/1058) collided with a motorcycle (registration number JK02BN/7662) at Nillow, leaving three riders injured.

The injured have been identified as Showkat Altaf Hajam (36), son of Mohd Ayoub Hajam, resident of Nandimarg; Bilal Ahmad Hajam (22), son of Mohd Yousuf Hajam, resident of Yarikah Nandimarg; and Aejaz Ahmad Hajam (20), son of Mohd Yousuf Hajam, also a resident of Yarikah Nandimarg.

All three were rushed to District Hospital Kulgam, where doctors referred two to GMC Anantnag and another to SKIMS Srinagar for advanced treatment.

Police have taken cognizance of the incident.
