Three residential house were damaged after a fire broke out in Kulgam district on Friday late midnight.
An official told The Kashmiriyat that the fire engulfed three residential house at around 3:30 am and caused significant damage the house and later spread to nearby houses in Kulgam’s Razloo Kund area.
He said the houses were owned by Ashiq Hussain Shan, Gull Mohammed Shan, Mohammed Rafiq Shan and Abdul Rehman Wani, residents of Razloo Kund of Kulgam.
“Timely intervention of firefighters and locals doused the flames and prevented the fire from spreading to adjacent localities”, he said.
The official said the cause of fire was being ascertained.
